		<description>Sadly the premise of Glenn D Reeder&#039;s quote resonates with me too. How many times have we been in a situation where people have argued &#039;black is white&#039; because they believe that this is the appropriate thing to do, rather than stand back, take a deep breath, and accept that &#039;black&#039; is not &#039;white&#039; and that opinions on shades of grey are important.

Having said that, perhaps there are some roles in society (eg; politicians) where there is an expectation of the behaviour outlined in your post. That doesn&#039;t make it acceptable however.</description>
