Putting Change Management Plans to the Test

I read a piece about young go-getters in business (Washington Post 10/26/08). Hooman Radfar went to Silicon Valley to meet with investors. But not for the reasons you might think. As the article says, “. . .he got destroyed. But Radfar says that’s what he wanted. He had to see the flaws in his business before he could fix them.”

So here’s an idea. How about putting your change management plan to the test. Bring in key stakeholders who you know will be tough. And let them tear into your plan. Yes, its gutsy, but think about how much you could learn.

I advise it heavily. It is the hardest thing to do, but it is the most valuable.
