Thanks, Jake, for the comment an the link to the article. I imagine this campaign will offer lessons to candidates on ways to build a strong base (as they say) and keep your finger close to the pulse of those who support them. So many lessons that could be applied to leaders in organizations. - Rick

The story you've captured here Rick continues today. I just read an article that shows that Barack & Co. have much bigger plans over the next four years than they unveiled during the past two of the campaign.

http://tiny.cc/4pqvK

The Obama campaign ended up with more than 2 million registered users on its MyBarackObama.com website. The Obama transition team and the remaining campaign organization are keeping in touch with volunteers online, soliciting their opinions about their campaign experiences, asking volunteers to share war stories, and inviting them to write about their "vision" for the country. (if you are one of these people you know you've been receiving these invitations to get engaged)

For example, he campaign and transition websites this week asked visitors to click on a link to donate to victims of California wildfires — resulting in more than 100,000 hits.

This is the kind of change we can believe in!
